A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection to the Saturday morning shootings in Knoxville, Tennessee. KPD reports that Robert Scruggs was charged in connection to the shootings at Anderson Automotive and the 400 block of North Broadway.
Officers located the Kia that was stolen from the shooting victim at Anderson Automotive and took Scruggs into custody. At this time, Scruggs is charged with felony murder for the Anderson Automotive shooting and first-degree murder for the shooting on North Broadway.
KPD also reports that Scruggs is also charged with especially aggravated robbery, carjacking, business burglary, and two counts of felony evading arrest. The motive is unclear at this time. No other details are available.
