Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez has announced the arrest of a Klein ISD teacher in connection to the alleged trafficking of children. According to Sheriff Gonzalez, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations & Security Division arrested Kedria M. Grigsby on three counts of trafficking of a child and three counts of compelling prostitution of juveniles.
The three supposed victims were students and reported runaways. They were 15, 16, and 17 years ago. HCSO detectives believe Grigsby aided her son, Roger Magee, who was arrested in 2022 for trafficking of children and compelling prostitution. Magee is still behind bars. It is alleged that Grigsby recruited trouble juveniles from local high schools and offered them a place to stay at a hotel.
Sheriff Gonzalez says additional teenage victims have come forward to say Grigsby also attempted to recruit them while attending school. The HCSO Human Trafficking Unit is investigating to look for additional victims.
