Killeen, Texas – The Killeen Police Department says it is investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old on Dustin Court. According to a KPD statement, officers responded to the 3700 block of Dustin Court for a report of a shooting on January 23, 2025.

At the scene, responding officers reportedly found an 18-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to AdventHealth Central Texas in critical condition.

KPD says the victim was pronounced deceased by the Justice of the Peace Nicola James around 6:31 p.m. The victim’s name is not being released at this time.

Police say a 20-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Killeen City Jail. Charges are pending. No other details are available at this time.
