The Kentucky State Police announced in a press release that it had been requested by the Lawrenceburg Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred around 5 p.m. on December 23, 2020. Kentucky State Police troopers reached the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident.

A male was transported from the scene to a hospital. The extent of the man’s injuries is not known at this time.
