The Kent Police Department has arrested a man after he was shot during a domestic dispute. According to KPD, officers responded to a domestic dispute at the Lighthouse Apartments at 10710 Southeast 256th Street around 3:30 p.m. on March 24, 2024. KPD says a 41-year-old man was arrested after he was shot during a domestic dispute involving a 35-year-old Kent woman.
The woman was also shot during the incident. The initial information suggests that the man and woman were involved in an argument when the woman’s brother arrived. The man got into a fight with the woman’s brother leading to the 41-year-old man and 35-year-old woman being shot. The brother was detained and interviewed.
After the 41-year-old man was released from the hospital, he was arrested and booked on outstanding warrants. The 35-year-old female is being treated at Harborview Medical Center.
