The Kenosha Police Department announced in a social media post that it is investigating a homicide in the 900 block of 42nd Street. Just before 6 p.m. on February 10, 2024, KPD officers responded to the 900 block of 42nd Street for multiple reports of gunshots.

At the scene, officers found one victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim succumbed to his injuries and is only being described as a 20-year-old male. The scene and surrounding area will remain secured as the investigation continues. No further details are available at this time.
