Kent Police say two men are scheduled to appear in court after the murder of a man in Canterbury city centre. Authorities responded to a disturbance on High Street around 11.31 p.m. on 10 October 2024.
Kent Police say emergency services responded and found a 23-year-old man suffering from an injury consistent with a stab wound. The male victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Kent Police confirm that two men were arrested after the incident. Two men have been arrested and released on bail pending additional investigation.
Two men will appear before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday. 24-year-old Kemal Ibrahim and 31-year-old Mohammed Hgar are charged with Murder and Possession of a Bladed Article in a Public Place.
Authorities say Ibrahim is also charged with Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.
