Kade Michael Jones sentenced to prison for striking infant child causing a traumatic head injury

A man has been sentenced to prison following his guilty plea to aggravated battery. The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney of Bingham County reports that Kade Michael Jones was sentenced following his guilty plea on April 16, 2024.

Jones was charged in connection to an incident in which he struck his infant child causing a traumatic head injury. The case was handled by Prosecuting Attorney Ryan W. Jolley. The Prosecuting Attorney recommended a sentence of six years fixed and nine years indeterminate for a total sentence of 15 years.

The Court imposed a sentence of two years fixed and ten years indeterminate for a total of 12 years.
