The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is currently at the scene of a shooting off Henry Lawton Road. According to JCSO, the victim reported that they turned onto Henry Lawton Road from Grahamville Road when unknown suspects shot at their vehicle from a wooded area.

There have been no reported injuries, but the victim’s vehicle sustained some damage in the shooting. JCSO confirms the investigation is active and ongoing. Authorities do not believe there is a threat to the community. Locals are asked to avoid the area until the matter can be resolved.
