The Montgomery County Department of Police has announced charges against a suspect in a home invasion robbery that occurred on July 10, 2023. According to a news release, the Major Crimes Division arrested and charged 33-year-old Jaron Dante Ray in connection to the home invasion robbery on Key West Avenue in Rockville.

Detectives say they identified Ray as the suspect during the course of the investigation. On February 29, 2024, detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging Ray with first-degree assault, armed robbery, theft, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

On March 12, 2024, Ray was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit where he remains without bond.
