Update 2 – Irondequoit Police have provided an update on the fatal shootings at 329 Knapp Avenue. Fraime Ubaldo, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno were murdered in their home.

IPD says it has been working around the clock to apprehend the individuals responsible. After the arrest of Julio Cesar Pimental Soriano, IPD has been trying to arrest his brother. At this time, the brother is wanted on four counts of Murder.

Police are looking for Louis Francisco Soriano, aka “Jeffrey”. It is believed Soriano has fled to Puerto Rico, but he also has ties to Rochester. Anyone with information is asked to call IPD at 585-336-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 585-423-9300.

Update 1 – The Irondequoit Police Department has identified the victims found in the burned residence at 329 Knapp Avenue. IPD initially responded to the address for a fire at the location. Once the fire was extinguished, four individuals were found deceased inside.

• 4-year-old Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno
• 2-year-old Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno

IPD says the condition of the bodies made it clear this was going to be a homicide investigation. The processing of the scene took nearly two full days due to the nature of the scene.

Original – The Irondequoit Police Department is currently investigating after multiple people were found deceased inside a residence. IPD reports that it received a 911 call for the address of 329 Knapp Avenue around 5:23 a.m. on August 31, 2024.

The call reported a fire at the location. IPD and Irondequoit Fire Department, Point Pleasant Fire Department, and Irondequoit Ambulance personnel responded to the scene. The fire inside the structure was dealt with and brought under control.

Authorities say several individuals were found deceased inside the residence. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. Until then, IPD says the incident is being treated as a homicide. No other details are available at this time.
