Keolis bus driver Joshua Aldana abandoned his school bus, occupied by students, near Lakeview Leadership Academy. According to the report, Aldana arrived at the school in a potentially altered state.

The school resource officer detained Aldana in the lobby. Aldana had a 9mm handgun in his possession.

Aldana was charged with multiple firearm offenses and remanded to the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, California.
