An inmate serving time for Murder has escaped from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation custody. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office says it was notified of the escape on December 2, 2024.

According to TCSO, 34-year-old Cesar Hernandez escaped from custody at the prison courthouse near 10th Avenue and Kensington Street in Delano around 10:40 a.m. on Monday.

Authorities say Hernandez was last seen wearing an orange CDCR jumpsuit and white thermal clothing. Authorities ask anyone who sees Hernandez to call 911 immediately.
