Huron, California – The Huron Police Department has announced the arrest of 24-year-old Rosita Yvette Bobadilla who has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of Attempted Murder.

According to HPD, officers responded to a report of an injured person in the area of Crocker Avenue and Los Angeles Street around 5:44 a.m. on December 21, 2024.

Police say a 40-year-old male victim suffered a significant head injury after being beaten in the head with a hammer. Detectives say they identified Bobadilla as the suspect in the case on December 24.

After being taken into custody, she was allegedly positively identified by the victim. HPD says the arrest followed a thorough investigation that uncovered a pattern of violent behavior involving the suspect.
