A man is dead following a shooting in Houston on Monday. The Houston Police Department said it is investigating the fatal shooting of a man who was found on West Canino Road around 9:50 p.m. on April 15, 2024. The identity of the 27-year-old man is not being released at this time.
Houston Police Department patrol officers responded to 600 West Canino Road for a report of a shooting. Officers learned that Houston Fire Department paramedics had found the victim in the driver’s seat of his vehicle and pronounced him deceased.
HPD believes the suspect fled the scene in a tan or beige Chevrolet pickup truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
