The Houston Police Department announced that a suspect had been charged in a November shooting. According to a news release from HPD, charges have been filed against 26-year-old Quendarious Emerson in the shooting of a man and woman in the 3400 block of Cavalcade Street just before 2 a.m. on November 21.
Emerson is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. At this time, Emerson is not in custody. The victims include a 33-year-old female and a 30-year-old male. Both are expected to survive their injuries. Patrol officers with the Houston Police Department responded to the scene and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
A female was found with a single gunshot wound. The victims were taken to an area hospital. Detectives say they determined Emerson as the suspect before he was charged on December 19.
