The Houston Police Department is investigating two fatal shootings and a fatal stabbing. Two occurred late Monday while a third happened early Tuesday morning. Around 8:55 p.m. on March 25, 2024, HPD officers responded to the shooting of a woman and the possible suicide of a man at 4210 Ennis Street. The 42-year-old female victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The 44-year-old male suspect was pronounced deceased.
HPD says the victim was on the phone with family members during a domestic dispute with the suspect. During the call, the family members heard multiple gunshots. HPD believes the male suspect shot the female before shooting himself. Around 10:15 p.m. on March 25, 2024, HPD officers responded to a stabbing call in the parking lot of a car wash at 9425 Harwin Drive.
A witness informed responding officers that a man was unresponsive with a possible stab wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The witness reported that an unknown male suspect had stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene. Around 1:25 a.m. on March 26, 2024, HPD officers responded to an apartment complex at 5950 Antoine Drive for a report of a shooting.
At the scene, responding officers found a 66-year-old male victim inside an apartment suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
