The Houston Police Department is trying to find the individual responsible for fatally shooting one man and wounding four others at 8627 Glenvista Street around 3 a.m. on December 24, 2023. The deceased victim has been identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Parker. According to Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp, witnesses said Parker and a group of males were involved in an exchange of gunfire with another group of males in the parking lot of an after-hours club at the aforementioned address.

After suffering an apparent gunshot wound, Parker collapsed in the middle of the Gulf Freeway service road. He was pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics at the scene. Detectives discovered that four other adults were taken to hospitals in private vehicles. Each victim had suffered a gunshot wound or wounds in this incident.

The other victims included one 19-year-old female and three males aged 17, 18, and 19. Detectives do not know what led up to the altercation or if the injured victims were the intended targets.
