The Houston Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection to the death of 39-year-old Codie Girouard. HPD reports that charges were filed against a second suspect in the fatal shooting that occurred at 8433 Hearth Drive on February 19, 2022.
22-year-old Dylon Reanard Adams has been charged with murder. 27-year-old Joshua Gerard Jackson is also charged with murder in the shooting. Jackson was arrested on July 6, 2022. Officers responded to a shooting in the parking lot at 8433 Hearth Drive.
At the scene, responding officers found 39-year-old Codie Girouard suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives believe Girouard had planned to meet the suspects at the location.
When the suspects arrived, Girouard approached their vehicle and was fatally shot. Adams was arrested on July 12, 2024.
