On November 5, 2023, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Houston Police investigated a non-fatal shooting of a 28-year-old male. The unidentified victim suffered several gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Following an investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for 26-year-old Rodney Jermaine Tyler, and 26-year-old Mechelle Lee Johnson, both of which remain at large.

The victim states he knew the suspect who shot him several times. The man was listed in stable condition at a hospital, according to the press release.

Tyler and Johnson are facing aggravated assault charges. Tyler is facing an additional charge, unlawful carrying of a weapon. Houston Police need the public’s help in locating the suspects.
