The Houston Police Department has announced that charges have been filed against a suspect accused of shooting a man at 3105 Weslayan Street around 11:45 p.m. on May 21, 2022. 36-year-old Jeffrey Duncan Hendrix is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The 23-year-old male victim survived his injuries.

Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to a call of a shooting at an apartment complex at the aforementioned address. Officers found a victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound at the scene.

Hendrix was charged on December 20, 2023 and arrested on December 27, 2023 without incident.
