The Houston Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in a fatal shooting in December. According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Wilson and Detective M. Castillo, patrol officers responded after a shooting victim was dropped off at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.

The victim was later identified as 30-year-old Eric Colin. Colin had multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Investigators say they learned that the victim was dropped off by an unknown female. The shooting reportedly occurred at the parking lot of a restaurant at 3202 South Loop West around 11:45 p.m. on December 21, 2023.

HPD detectives say the investigation identified Bahena Dominguez as the suspect. 25-year-old Dominguez has been charged with murder.
