Holdenville Police arrest man for alleged child abuse in McDonald’s parking lot

The Holdenville Police Department has arrested a suspect in an alleged case of child abuse on Sunday. The Holdenville Police Department reports that officers responded to the parking lot of Holdenville McDonald’s for a report of child abuse.

HPD says a Good Samaritan intervened while others contacted the police. Officers took information from witnesses who saw the alleged abuse. The suspect fled the scene on foot before police arrived.

Officers secured a criminal probable cause warrant for the arrest of Daniel Ernest Thompson. Sharp was taken into custody at his home in Sasakwa, Oklahoma without incident. Thompson is currently being housed at the Seminole County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
