A man is behind bars following an armed robbery at a Fishhawk 7-Eleven. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Matthew Green Jr. has been arrested for armed robbery and assaulting a jogger.
It is alleged that Green attempted an armed robbery at a Fishhawk 7-Eleven on April 16, 2024. A short time later, he allegedly assaulted a jogger and stole their phone. Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene.
HCSO detectives say they found and arrested Green at a Riverview residence. Green was booked on numerous charges, including Robbery with a Firearm, Battery by Strangulation, Violation of Parole, and Grand Theft Third Degree.
