High Point, North Carolina – The High Point Police Department is investigating a triple shooting that left one man deceased.

According to HPPD, officers resounded to 3305 Colony Drive in reference to an Assault with a Deadly Weapon around 12:19 a.m. on January 11, 2025.

At the scene, officers found that multiple gunshots had been fired inside the residence. Four individuals were found inside, according to a police statement.

Three of those individuals suffered gunshot wounds. One of the victims succumbed to their injuries. HPPD has identified the deceased victim as 20-year-old Brandon C. Harris Jr.

The other victims were taken to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment. They are reportedly in stable condition at this time.

Authorities confirm that no charges have been filed at this time, but there is no threat to the community.
