The London Police Department has announced charges against a suspect in connection to an incident on August 25. LPD officers responded to a 911 call hang-up from the residence of Joe T. and Judy Roberts at 1 Heather Way.

At the scene, responding officers found Heather R. Manning lying on the ground outside suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. Officers located Judy W. Roberts lying on the floor inside with injuries reportedly from an armed assault by Manning.

Both were transported to an area hospital for treatment and transferred to UK Hospital in Lexington. Heather Manning was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center and will be moved to the Laurel County Detention Center.

She is charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Assault 4th Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (2 counts), and Unlawful Imprisonment (2 counts).
