The Healdsburg Police Department has announced the arrest of two suspects in connection to a stabbing on June 2, 2024. Around 11 p.m. on June 2, HPD dispatch received a call from an employee at the Healdsburg District Hospital reporting a victim suffering from stab wounds.

HPD says the victim was uncooperative with responding officers. However, officials were able to identify two suspects in connection to the stabbing. On August 23, 2024, HPD officers carried out arrest warrants for both suspects.

18-year-old Anthony Lucas Cruz was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on charges of Attempted Murder and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. 18-year-old Katie Anne Beth was booked in the same charges.
