Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez announced on social media that Daysie Parke-Jones had been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Felony Deadly Conduct. She is accused of shooting her father, 48-year-old Ronald Parker, multiple times. Sheriff Gonzalez explained that the shooting happened in front of Daysie Parker-Jones’s 12-year-old daughter.

The victim is hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Investigators responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at 14403 Ella. Police said an adult male had been shot by a family member.
