Harris County Sheriff’s Office responds after woman stabbed by two children described as 8 and 12

Update – Sheriff Ed Gonzalez provided an update on social media saying the children were located. The female victim was transported by LifeFlight to another hospital. The children are 7 and 12 years old.

Original – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has responded to a stabbing in which an adult female was stabbed by two children. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies responded to the 17200 block of April Valley Ct for a report of a stabbing.

The preliminary information indicates that an adult female, who is possibly in her 50s, was stabbed by two children. The children are described as being 8 and 12 years old. Following the stabbing, the children fled the scene. The female was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
