Houston, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media statement that its units are responding to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 12700 block of North Houston Rosslyn Road.
According to HCSO, three juveniles were transported to an area hospital after being shot. The shooter reportedly remained on the scene.
Police say Violent Crime Division and CSU investigators are responding to the scene. No other details are available at this time.
Update – Sheriff Ed Gonzalez has provided an update in a social media statement. According to the Sheriff, several children ranging in age from 12 to 14 allegedly attempted to rob a male victim with an apparent pistol.
The victim allegedly retrieved a pistol and shot three of the males. The wounded males were taken to hospitals. Sheriff Gonzalez said two of the males were in fair condition while the third male was said to be in critical condition.
The critical male is possibly 12 years of age, according to officials. The alleged shooter remained at the scene and is cooperating.
