The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide this evening. In a social media post, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported that Precinct 4 deputies responded to an incident in the 23700 block of Springwood Village Parkway.
At the scene, deputies found an adult male and an adult female unresponsive suffering from gunshot wounds. A female child also suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital by Lifeflight.
Based on the initial information, HCSO believes this is a murder-suicide attempt. In an update, HCSO Sheriff Gonzalez confirmed the adult male and adult female were deceased inside the apartment.
The two were reportedly in a romantic relationship. The child victim is the female victim’s daughter. The child is in critical condition. At this time, it is believed that the male was the shooting. No other details are available.
