The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it needs the public’s help in a woman’s death. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a body found in the 17600 block of Youpon Street in east Harris County around 5 PM on December 7, 2023. When investigators reached the scene, they spoke to the individual who discovered the victim’s body off the roadway in a heavily wooded area.

The victim was later identified as 42-year-old Jessica Stabler. The Institute of Forensic Science determined that homicide was the cause of death.
