Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reports that the Harris County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection to the murder of 29-year-old Cortney Hall. Gonzalez announced on social media that Christopher Daniel Bernard was arrested and charged with Murder.

Bernard was booked into the Harris County Jail. Around 8 a.m. on October 2, 2024, HCSO deputies responded to the 200 block of Assay near West Lake Houston Parkway.

At the scene, responding deputies located the body of 29-year-old Cortney Hall. No other details are available at this time.
