The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating after a female was found fatally shot. Bay Creek precinct officers responded to a residence on Chance Lane after a report of a person shot just after 1 a.m. At the scene, officers discovered what appeared to be a house party.

The residence was cleared before officers discovered one deceased female. Homicide detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene to investigate and gather information.
