Gwinnett County, Georgia – The Gwinnett County Police Department is currently investigating a domestic-related homicide that left one adult male deceased.

According to GCPD, officers with the Central Precinct responded to the area of Venture Parkway and Market Street for a person shot around 7:30 p.m.

At the scene, responding officers found an adult male suffering from one gunshot wound. The victim was transported by paramedics and passed away at an area hospital.

GCPD says homicide detectives are interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area. Based on the preliminary investigation, police believe this was a domestic-related incident between the deceased male and a known individual.
