The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Greensboro, North Carolina. GCSO Sheriff Danny H. Rogers reports that deputies responded to a shooting at 1701 Ewing Drive in Greensboro around 8:50 p.m. on July 6, 2024.

At the scene, deputies found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. GCSO says it is not actively searching for a suspect in connection to the shooting.

The shooting is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. No other details are available.
