The Gresham Police Department has announced an arrest in a stabbing that occurred on February 9. According to GPD, officers responded to a report of an injured person in the 18300 block of Southeast Stark Street just before 3:30 a.m. on February 9, 2024.

At the scene, they located 49-year-old David McQuown with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition. East Multnomah County Major Crimes Team detectives investigated the stabbing.

Detectives say they identified the suspect as 20-year-old Antony Kassab who was arrested on the morning of February 22, 2024. Kassab is charged with Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and Assault in the First Degree.
