The Greece Police Department has announced the arrest of 66-year-old Paul Oca in connection to forged tickets. GPD reports that it became aware of potential fraud involving tickets to the Rochester Jazz Festival.
CID detectives investigated the matter and said that Oca caused 15 tickets to the festival to be copied. Then, he allegedly distributed 10 of those tickets knowing they were forgeries. Detectives recovered five of the forged tickets.
Oca has been charged with Forgery in the Second Degree. GPD says the value of the forged tickets is nearly $5,000. Detectives are still working to locate the other forged tickets. GPD warns that anyone in possession or using the forged tickets is subject to being charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.
