In 2016, Brian W. Readenour, 47, of Graves County, Kentucky was convicted of multiple child sex crimes, including sodomy, sexual abuse, and rape of a victim 13 years of age. Readenour was later convicted on similar charges and is once again facing the same offenses.

On November 21, 2023, Graves County Sheriff’s Office investigators obtained warrants for Readenour’s arrest following an investigation over the past weekend. The new charges include first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree sodomy of a minor child.

Readenour’s residence is located in the Gardner Road area between Wingo and Water Valley in Graves County. Investigators are unable to locate him.

On December 5, 2023, authorities released footage from hunting cameras in the Murphy’s Pond area near the St. Denis community of Hickman County. Authorities identified Readenour as the individual in the footage

The sheriff’s offices of Carlisle, Hickman, McCracken, and Graves have executed a joint search of the area.

UPDATE: Readenour was apprehended by the Union City Police in Tennessee at 10:15 p.m. on December 7, 2023.
