The Graham Police Department has announced the arrest of Derrick Ramont Spencer in connection to a double shooting. GPD officers responded to 412 East Hill Street for a reported shooting around 10:26 p.m. on October 11, 2024.

At the scene, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim passed away at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries.

The second victim later succumbed to his injuries. Derrick Ramont Spencer has been arrested and charged with First-Degree Murder and Possessing a Stolen Firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
