Gordon County, Georgia – The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a suspect who was found hiding in a juvenile’s closet. According to GCSO, deputies responded to a report of an intruder at a private residence on Fox Street on December 27.
Police say the complainant had found an unidentified man hiding in the closet in a juvenile’s bedroom. The complainant confronted the man who fled on foot before deputies arrived.
Detectives responded to the scene to investigate. GCSO says deputies identified the perpetrator on Saturday morning.
According to GCSO, deputies arrested 19-year-old Sergio Hernandez-Vicente who is charged with Statutory Rape and Child Molestation.
