Update 2 – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a person of interest in connection to a fatal shooting in Andrews. GCSO says its deputies are searching for 24-year-old Hezekiah Wilson for questioning following the fatal shooting.

Authorities warn that Wilson is considered armed and dangerous and a danger to the community. GCSO urges anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Office at 843-546-5102.

 

Update – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the victim of this shoot has passed away. GCSO says the victim was wounded at a business on Martin Luther King Drive and passed away at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital just after 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Authorities say they are gathering evidence and attempting to locate witnesses.

Original – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office reports that it is currently investigating a shooting incident. GCSO reported on social media that the shooting in Andrews left one man injured overnight.

Authorities say deputies are currently on the scene of a shooting at a business on Martin Luther King Drive. The Sheriff’s Office says a man suffered a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
