The Galt Police Department has announced it has arrested an attempted homicide suspect. According to a social media post from the Galt Police Department, it has made a significant development in the investigation regarding a shooting at Twin Cities Road and Marengo Road in Galt.

Following efforts between law enforcement agencies, two suspects have been identified and arrested. 18-year-old Juan Blanco was apprehended by the Galt Police Department with help from the Lodi Police Department on December 9. Blanco is being held without bail pending formal charges related to the attempted homicide and shooting into an inhabited dwelling/vehicle.

A juvenile has also been identified and arrested as an accessory. No further information is available due to the juvenile’s age. More details will be released as they become available.
