The Fresno Police Department has identified the victim of a homicide on March 23, 2024. According to FPD, the department received a three-round Shot Spotter alert in the 100 block of East Oneil Avenue around 4:23 a.m. on March 23, 2024. At the scene, responding officers located 47-year-old Ryan Lecour near a gate leading into an alley.

The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound to his midsection. Lecour was pronounced deceased at the scene. FPD says shell casings and other items of evidence were collected at the scene. Detectives say witnesses informed them that they heard gunshots and an argument between two unidentified individuals.
