Around 2:25 p.m. on March 21, 2024, the TPD Communications Center received reports of a robbery in progress at Don Roberto Jewelers.
TPD says eight individuals entered the store and used hammers to smash the glass displays. The suspects, who were wearing face masks, took roughly $150,000 in jewelry before fleeing the scene. Subjects associated with the robbery were spotted fleeing the area. A stolen BMW SUV occupied by four of the subjects was involved in a single-vehicle crash near the entrance of the mall.
The other four subjects managed to get away. TPD, the Stockton Police Department Air Support, the California Highway Patrol, and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office responded to help search for the individuals on foot. The four suspects were taken into custody.
They include 21-year-old Trevion Williams, 23-year-old Jamary Barnes, 19-year-old Jayden Barnes, and 21-year-old Eric Anderson. Each subject is charged with Organized Retail Theft, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, and Robbery by Force or Fear. They were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
