Fort Collins, Colorado – The Fort Collins Police Services said in a statement that a Fort Collins school teacher has been charged with sexual assault charges. Authorities are looking for possible additional victims.

According to police, staff from Poudre School District reported to the Department of Human Services that a PSD colleague disclosed that he had an inappropriate relationship with a previous student in May 2024.

The accused teacher has been identified as Brendan Gallagher by authorities. Detectives with FCPS’s Crimes Against Persons Unit allegedly identified a female who had been victimized in 2015 while she was a student in one of Gallagher’s classes at Fossil Ridge High School.
