The Fayetteville Police Department is currently investigating a sexual assault that occurred on August 1, 2024. FPD reports that the incident reportedly occurred around 10 a.m. on August 1, 2024 in the area of Cliffdale Road.

FPD says the preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was given a ride by an unidentified male from the Brunce Road area to an apartment complex near Cliffdale Road where the incident occurred.
