The Fayetteville Police Department is currently investigating a homicide on Cinnamon Creek Circle. FPD confirms a suspect has been detained.

According to FPD, its officers responded to a reported shooting in the 6000 block of Cinnamon Creek Circle just before 4 p.m. on November 30, 2024.

Police say officers found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he passed away.

Authorities are not releasing the identity of the victim at this time. FPD says a suspect has been detained in connection to this fatal shooting.
