The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Friday morning at the Big Apple Restaurants and Sports Pub. FPD reports that its officers responded to the restaurant at 5900 Yadkin Road around 1:41 a.m. on October 11 for a reported shooting.

At the scene, responding officers found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel responded to the scene and the victim was pronounced deceased. At this time, the victim’s name is being withheld.

FPD’s Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the incident. No other details are available.
