The Fayetteville Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday night. FPD reports that its officers responded to the 700 block of Edgehill Road for a reported shooting just before 11 p.m. on Saturday.

At the scene, officers found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. One victim was in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
